Mystery

Mystery is one of the coolest horses that's come through our program, and has been the longest serving member! She is an absolutely bombproof little draft cross pony mare with striking coloring and a can-do attitude. She stands at a very stocky 13.3, and is 19 years old. She literally does it all - works cows, drives a cart, jumps, does barrels, goes bareback and bridleless, crosses anything on the trails, does dressage, does mounted archery and jousting, you name it. She has good, solid feet barefoot, stays fat on air but also can be out on grass without any history of founder, and has no lameness issues. She's top of the pecking order, but not a bully, and can be out with mares and geldings just fine. She's got a super smooth trot and canter great for teaching new riders, though once she gets moving can sometimes be a little strong in the bridle. She can have a "pony-tude" at times where she wants to go stop by the gate, munch the grass in the arena, or go hang out with her buddies standing in the ring, but is easily corrected. She's been used for all kinds of riders, but is starting to be a little sensitive to heavier riders, so is best suited for a child at this time. She is a truly special girl that deserves her own loving family after teaching countless people about horses. She would also make an absolutely awesome therapy horse.
