"Whiskey" Bay Gelding Quarter Horse

WHISKEY!

14 year old grade quarter horse gelding. He is a cutie! Raised on a ranch in South Dakota, he spent the last winter in Arizona Team Roping. Knows barrel pattern. Entered in a fun speed show this summer by a rider that had never showed before and was .3 seconds away from placing in barrels in a big class. Push style, but has speed if asked.

Excellent all-around horse! He loads perfectly every time, stands tied, good for vet/farrier, lower in the pecking order here (the guy I bought him from said--he gets along with any horse! True! He fits right in with our 2 geldings, good around mares.) No maintenance. Current coggins, up to date on everything, teeth good, feet just done. Currently barefoot, no problems, has had shoes in the past. Easy to catch as long as you don’t try to rush.

We have put the most very beginner riders on him in the arena and on the trail, and he is a dream! We have put intermediate/experienced riders on him, and he is so fun to ride! Goes the speed asked every time, stops when asked, W/T/C gallop. Takes leads. Neck reins. No buck, rear, bolt etc. Everyone wants to ride him! He is the perfect mix of calm and fun to ride. Loves water. A gentleman, and so sweet. Meets you at the gate, kind look in his eye. Would be a great horse for a family or honestly, for anyone! I can’t say enough good things about him.
