SKY — 15.1hh red dun breeding stock Paint mare with two beautiful blue eyes.
Sky is an exceptionally gentle, family-friendly mare with a kind disposition and great manners. She absolutely loves children—my 6-year-old rides and leads her without any issues. She has excellent ground manners and is easy and enjoyable to handle.
Sky has been used around the ranch and has also been used for leadline at Little Britches rodeos. She is a great goat-tying horse and would make a really nice playday horse. She has a good handle, is easy to ride, and adjusts her pace and speed according to the rider, making her suitable for the whole family.
Out on the trail, Sky confidently crosses creeks, steps over logs, handles tarps and rain slickers, and is traffic safe and not spooky. She is currently being used to teach lessons to children and adults.
She is great for the farrier, loads and unloads like a pro, stands tied quietly, and loves a bath. Sky is the kind of versatile, dependable mare that can be enjoyed by the kids, taken down the trail, used around the ranch, or hauled to the playdays.
Can be bred to bay roan Draft Cross Stud if buyer would like after purchase.
