Rocky - Kid Safe Family Trail Paint Gelding 💚

Rocky is the kind of horse families are looking for when they want something quiet, dependable, and enjoyable to ride. He is a beautiful Paint gelding with a laid-back personality and is definitely more whoa than go.

Rocky will walk and trot willingly. He will lope, but you will have to put some leg into him and encourage him to pick up the pace. That is actually one of the things we really like about Rocky for children and beginner riders. We would much rather have a horse that needs encouragement to go faster than one a child is constantly trying to slow down.

Rocky direct reins and does not neck rein. He is straightforward to ride and makes a wonderful choice for trail riding, pleasure riding, or a family wanting a horse everyone can enjoy.

He is approximately 10 years old and stands around 14.3 hands. Rocky also gets along well with both mares and geldings in the pasture.

Scheduling an appointment does not place a horse on hold. Until a deposit is received, our horses remain available for purchase.
