Boomer is an 8-year-old Missouri Fox Trotter cross gelding standing 14.3ยฝ hands tall. This gorgeous blue roan gelding turns heads everywhere he goes with his flashy white legs, stocky build, and excellent bone and foot quality.
Boomer has traveled countless miles of trails across the country and is the kind of horse you can confidently point down the trail and enjoy. He has a nice one-hand neck rein, side passes, and navigates rough terrain with ease. He is the perfect combination of ranch horse training and gaited-horse comfort.
On the trail, Boomer is as versatile as they come. He rides comfortably anywhere in the groupโfront, middle, or backโand is equally happy heading out alone. He doesnโt mind breaking away from the pack and handles new places and situations with confidence. Heโll gait out and cover ground when asked, but heโs also content to ride quietly with non-gaited horses without needing constant restraint.
Boomer is a pleasure to have around the barn. He has excellent ground manners, stands tied quietly, picks up all four feet with ease, and tacks and bridles without fuss. He stands patiently for mounting and dismounting and willingly crosses mud, water, and other trail obstacles.
My husband has spent a lot of time riding Boomer on the trails and absolutely loves him. Heโs the kind of horse thatโs enjoyable whether youโre riding every day or only getting out once a month.
Boomer is current on his veterinary health exam, Coggins, deworming, and has a fresh set of front shoes.
