Slider is a horse for the family, take him out and ride him or let the kids ride him. Fancy broke with a good neck rein, stop, and back. He moves off your legs and will spin with a pivot foot or turn on the forehand. Also does flying lead changes. He will trail ride out through the woods or ride in an arena. Slider has been shown some but would need to be hauled a little more to make a solid show horse. Slider would most likely excel in an area such as western dressage. He could also be used in a lesson program for all levels of riders. We have let beginners on him and he has done well. Slider does prefer to have a more consistent job but doesn't require consistent riding. I have too many horses in the barn and just bought a younger horse so I am looking to downsize.
