Honey is a sweet mare who is ready to be finished any direction. She has been mainly used on trails and has a great mind, always ready for adventure! Peppy San Badger on top and Kay Cee Leaguer on bottom, she is athletic and has the looks too. She is very easy to handle on the ground, picks up her feet, and leads nicely. Loads and trailers well. Easy to catch! Is middle in the pecking order in the herd. She will walk calmly down the trail and rides out alone or with the group. She is easy to catch. She is barefoot and does not need shoes. She is quiet yet responsive under saddle and transitions through all gaits willingly but needs consistency under saddle or in a work program as she is young. She will not be the horse you leave sit all winter and hop on in spring without prior exercise. She is lazy and will ride quietly down the trail all day long without fuss. Has been overnight camping and trail ridden on organized rides at Ukarydee. No vices. Stalls nicely and is currently on outdoor pasture turnout.

Runs with mares or geldings in pasture. Isn’t that “mareish” type mare either.

She is up to date on coggins, dewormed, spring shot, teeth floated last year, and just had her feet trimmed.

Current owners are beginner riders who are unable to give her the consistency she deserves and have a large vet bill after the loss of their horse. Intermediate rider appropriate for trails. Lower level intermediate with trainer and the desire to ride regularly would have potential to be suitable. Not selling as a beginner safe mount as she needs more time and consistent riding under saddle.
