Big John is a ranch gelding who is gentle, and anyone can get along with. He keeps a cool head in a crowded sorting pen or riding out lone. He is sound, easy to catch, great with his feet for the farrier, loads great, and stands tied like a gentleman. He has absolutely no buck, great ground manners, and gets along well with other horses (he tends to be at the bottom of the herd). He can sit all winter, and you can get on him and go with no fuss. Big John is up to date on all vaccines and his teeth were floated in October 2023. He is currently on Pergolide for maintenance of his Cushing’s disease (diagnosed and treated through Montana Equine). He has a small, old injury bump on his forehead that does not bother or affect him in any way.
