She can go out by herself, although she prefers to ride with a friend. She can be ponied anywhere, lead-lines, stands for being brushed, having feet done, hooves trimmed, etc. She willingly jumps over obstacles when we go on our trail rides.
Marshmallow is normally ridden in a halter or hackamore— does not need a bit to get moving or stay moving. She is barefoot and has great feet.
Marsh can stay in a field or in a stall— she’s happy anywhere. Middle in the pecking order, easy going but won’t be pushed around.
She is an amazing broodmare. Marshmallow had a beautiful filly last may for us, and foaled out with no problems on her own. She allowed us to easily access her foal, and never changed her personality throughout the pregnancy. Her filly at one is already larger than her mother.
We hate to sell marshmallow, she is one of our best lesson horses, and just so sweet. But, we need room in the barn for foaling season— so our loss is your gain! Please reach out with any questions— happy to provide photos and videos.
