On the ground, he's a complete gentleman, often picking up his next foot before you even get to it. He's a safe horse, too, stopping and thinking before reacting, and moves beautifully off the leg.

Ryder has experience with all kinds of ranch chores, from roping to doctoring cows to gathering cattle. He's calm, alert, and easy to get along with, hopping right into the trailer and standing tied for hours. He's also been hauled extensively and doesn't mind any type of horse or stock trailer.

On the trail, Ryder shines. He's been exposed to barking dogs, snarling dogs, cows, buffalo, cars, trucks, goats, donkeys, dirt bikes, quads, UTVs, tractors, farm equipment, welding, jackhammering - you name it, he's seen it.
