We are very proud to offer such a cool little pony for sale to the public! Meet Sparkles a 5 yr old black/white paint Gypsy/Pony cross gelding standing right at 13.2 hands making him the perfect size for the little ones but stout and built enough for an adult to ride. Sparkles is very well trained to ride and has seen many miles out in open fields,on busy highways and been in town many times being very good with all types of traffic, he’s also been on a lot of trails miles and state parks with many different riders including little kids and really enjoys it. Sparkles also has spent many hours in the arena making him a very handy little pony that has a one hand neckrein, he knows leg cues, Lopes pretty circles and knows his leads very well, he’s soft in the bridle and supple in his body parts, he side passes, pivots, open/close gates, drag logs ,ride bareback and bridleless you name it he does it all! He’s very good with tarps bull whip nothing phases him at all. Last summer Sparkles was rode mostly by my little niece who is 7 yrs old and other little kids and takes good care of them,My niece has rode with me many times down the road and out in the fields and on trails and never had to worry a bit, he’s always taken good care of her and has had all different levels of riders and he loves the attention especially by little kids! Sparkles also has a few tricks under his belt ,he’ll lay down with cue on the ground and in saddle so if you need help getting on all you need is to lay him down and he’ll wait for you, he also sits up like a little puppy dog and loves the scratches while he’s sitting! We bought sparkles 3 yrs ago as a 2 yr old from the guy that bred and raised him so he’s been with us ever since and had all his training here and has been a pleasure to work with. He’s good with the farrier, he stands good to be saddle and to bridle, bathes good, he does great being stalled and does great out in pasture with other horses, easy to catch. Sparkles is very healthy and easy to keep around with no health issues and always been sound with no issues. He’s up to date on his teeth and dewormer.
