"Jacked Up On Loot" 2015 APHA Gelding standing 15.3hh with a kind and gentle demeanor. If you're looking for a Gelding that's more woah then go this is your guy!! Jack has been used the last year by a young gentleman with disabilities and they were always able to trust their son around him and on him.

W/t/l in both directions, moves off legs and has a nice stop on him. He can be lazy with everything he does though and encouragement is often times needed but with an extra tap of your leg or rein he will pick it right up. Once he knows he's working his laziness does go away. Ideally he'd make a great walk trot arena horse but does pick up the lope without as much effort on trails. He was originally started in the western pleasure discipline and there's definitely a strong side of that in him yet but it has been a few years and he would need a bit of a tune up if you wanted to show him western pleasure. We've used him for lessons and put beginners on him and never have to worry about who you have on him in the arena. On the trails he can get a bit more excited at times but a head bend to gain focus again and he's back to being great. He goes out alone or with others, he'll lead or follow, stands tied nicely, good for the farrier. He does have thin soles so we do use shoes and pads on his fronts while riding. He does have x-rays of both fronts and one navicular check on his front right as he can short stride on his front he's always been sound and current owners have never had any issues with him. Since putting shoes on him he's gotten much better about striding out on the front end and we contributed his short stride to his thin soles along with the Western Pleasure training and his laziness but did get x-rays done and can chat more with potential buyers and will share all x-rays. He's in on consignment.
