This gelding is ready to carry you this fall/winter for all your trail riding adventures. Super easy going, laid back guy. He's got a really nice handle on him. I would say not for a very beginner as he will try to get lazy with one and he does have some nice fancy buttons. He pivots, counter arcs, side pass, back, good whoa when you sit. Has also been used to push cattle and pony colts off of while halter breaking. He's very willing. Can be a little forward the first few minutes if he hasn't been rode in a week or two, nothing bad, just a little faster walk and then he's done. He's got a nice smooth jog, picks up his leads fine also. I rated him a 3 on the temperament scale because I have not shot a gun or anything near him, so unsure how he would be with that. I can say that the one time he did spook, it was no more than a little jump, no bolting or anything and it was from a unexpected dog out of no where jumping and barking when we rode by and startled it. Ridden next to roads and highways with no issues also.
