The list of positive feature of this mare could go on & on. Here are just a few:
*Meets you at the gate (even in a 20 acre pasture)
*Easy to halter, lead & tie
*Will lead off a 4-wheeler
*Good to groom, bathe & handle
*Easy to trim. No stocks needed & has GREAT feet.
*She has lived in a herd with dominate & easy going mares. She is a wonderful herd mate to all. She isn't a pushover but not mean either. She was a babysitter to young weanlings & yearlings as a 2yo & was fantastic with them.
*Loads & hauls in a trailer nicely
*Has lots of exposure to tractors, dogs, other horses, town & busy farm life. She handles it all like an expert.
*Confident mare who can come out on pasture on her own without being scared or herd bound.
*She's had a ton of ground work & has been started under harness. She ground drives really well and has easily taken to dragging stuff around the farm. She hasn't been hooked to a vehicle yet but has been tied onto another horse while they were pulling a forecart several times.
*She was started under saddle & ridden for a couple months as a coming 3yo. She did really well & the trainer enjoyed her confidence & willingness.
Again, so many great things about this mare I could go on & on.
