“Charlie” 5yr old Georgian Grande (Friesian/ Saddlebred), standing 17h. Whether you are riding this guy or handling him on the ground, you can’t help but smile. He has so much personality, and is such a love. Huge heart and huge movement. Classic Georgian Grande action. Charlie has a fantastic foundation of training to include 60 days of driving and 60 days of riding. Brave mountain goat out on trail. Hops over anything, climbs steep hills, goes thru water. Would make a super nice Fox Hunter. Just before coming to the farm, he spent 5 days out camping with a large group. Please keep in mind that a great start does not equal a finished beginner’s horse. He’s still young and green. Charlie is soft in the bridle with beautiful head carriage. He moves off your leg, and is very responsive. I would say he could use the most work on his canter. He’s so big and long legged, he’s still figuring out how to pull it all together. Very willing attitude, that’s fun to work with. Charlie’s one bad habit is that he will weave if left in a stall. He’s used to living out on pasture with a herd. Everyone’s buddy. Easy to catch, tie, stand for the farrier. Currently barefoot. UTD on everything.
