Xena is a 2015 model APHA solid grey mare. Consistent 3D pattern, sometimes in the 2D. Started on poles this last year but never been competed on in poles. Really likes cattle so could be taught cattle events quickly. She has been used to gather cattle in the hills several years ago and at a few branding sessions and has had rope swung on her but never had steer dallied or worked to come out of the box. Good in the hills and has packed an elk out of high county once last year as well. Easy in the herd and lower on the pecking order so does need to be fed up as has a thoroughbred metabolism so does best when she is not be run off hay. Feed her a little alfalfa and she blooms right up so doesn't need a lot of grain etc just good heavy flakes of quality hay as she is a big mare. Easy to haul , shoe, bath. Not keen on clippers the few times she has been clipped but can get the job done. Ran on the track one race, then turned onto the barrels and then current owner bought her as a four year old and finished on barrels and ran until she was six. Was introduced to basic dressage moves etc as four year old and has nice collection so could be finished off with true one handed show style for all around 4-H or western dressage horse. Quiet enough to do both show and speed events. Has been feed -leased the last year by my friend's 14 year old daughter and is in running shape and ready for a great home. Will continued to be ran until sold. Video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bvrHBmZsGZI&t=96s. New video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HJW8rzsSmFI
