Description

This Bellbottom girl, known around the farm as CoCo, is registered with the Gypsy Vanner Horse Society as Bellbottom Royal Chocolate Mousse (GVHS #GV06816). Standing at 14.2 hands with a draft build, she is the perfect one size fits all! Whether at a Gypsy breed show, in the dressage ring, on the trail, or even in the cow pen, CoCo is always one of a kind and stands out. She is gentle enough for a youth rider but forward enough to accomplish most any ambitious horsemanship goals. She has won countless blue ribbons and has much more than just a training tune-up under her belt. She has been with me in training for two years… and I’ve built a solid foundation in that time, exposed her to as much as possible, and added fun extras such as tricks and liberty. She has been trail ridden on different terrain and will ride out alone or with a group front, back, middle- wherever you point her. She has successfully competed at breed shows in halter, trail, dressage, ranch, english and western pleasure, hunter, and freestyle riding. She’s competed up to level one in classical dressage and basic level in western dressage and always brings good scores! She’ll move out beautifully but also will slow down and jog. She has been introduced to jumping, mounted archery, and cattle sorting and could easily be brought along in working equitation, cutting, or any other direction. She would also be content just walking around the farm! It’s been a pleasure to guide her as she has matured over the last few years. She is the horse I’ve trusted to ride during my two pregnancies, the first horse I rode post-partum, and the horse I trusted to put my baby on for his first sit on a horse. She has been my go-to horse to help pony horses (from a mini to a Clydesdale) and the first horse I pull out if I want a relaxing, worry-free trail ride. As far as breeding goes, CoCo has several foundation horses on her papers and is an excellent representation of the foundation horses that began Gypsy Vanners in America- less height, stout, and lots of brain. She tested negative for PSSM1 and FIS. She is sound in every way and requires no maintenance. She’s low in the pasture pecking order and stalls without fuss. She is an exemplary equine citizen when it comes to standing for the farrier, loading, and unloading in the trailer, and being clipped (and it takes a while to body clip a Gypsy). If one were to think of things a reliable horse would do- she’ll probably do it- ground tie, carry a flag, throw a rope off of her, deal with tarps or balloons, sit under her while you body clip her; she’ll do it all without a second thought. If she doesn’t know how to do something, it won’t take her long to learn it. Please contact me with any additional questions. My services will be available to help her transition to a new owner- in-person or virtual lessons- anything I can do- this horse means a great deal to me! Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions.
