Maverick is a that tired, true, and proven solid citizen. He’s that confidence booster, babysitter, teacher that everyone loves to have in their barn plus he is gorgeous to look at. He is the one you hand to your city friend that has never ridden or you put the grand kids on when they come out twice a year to visit. He is perfect for that short stirrup rider to go learn how to do reining, and take lessons. He’s push button and easy to ride. Maverick has won $4,000 NRHA. If he was going to go back to the show pen he would need to have his hocks injected, he is sound for regular riding. Maverick is solid out on the trails and loves going for the weekend trail ride, slow and steady down the trail. You don’t have to pedal him but he is very happy to go at any pace you would like. We have loaned him out to rodeo queens to use during the Cody Stampede Parade. He isn’t bothered by the crowds, noise or traffic. Maverick has carried flags at the Cody Nite Rode. He walks in quiet and rates back going out the gate, never gets hot or hyper. He has been rode right into Tractor Supply, though the store and helped out in customer service. We have handed Maverick to beginners to help gather cows on the mountains, he is an easy going, no nonsense ride. Maverick goes where he's pointed and never gives any hassle. The kids have taken him swimming in the pond on hot summer days. He enjoys the cool water and the fun they have. Maverick does mounted shooting and he is perfect for the beginner shooter to learn on. Maverick loves being groomed and having a bath. He is good for the farrier and the vet. Maverick is up to date on worming, vaccinations and farrier. He comes with complete dental, farrier, vet records and health exam. Additional vet work welcome at your expense. We will haul to any vet in Park County, Wyoming for free.
