“Turbo” is a 15H 2008 model black registered AMHA Morgan gelding. “Turbo” is literally liquid gold – this is the kind everyone hunts down and does not sell very often! He is a total saint – we are not sure what gets a reaction out of Turbo, but mock bombs barely get a notice, traffic, commotion, big boomer arms, cameras, megaphones, loud events, trains all of those don’t get a reaction! There has to be something out there that bugs him, but we have not found it as of yet! He came from a really cool set of movie horses that we got to buy and offer to the public this last spring. Turbo is the only one we held back, waiting for the series to be released. He has been my daughter’s primary mount this year and she has rode him in a lot of clinics, trail rides, parades, and spring brandings. She has also started riding english and doing some low level dressage and jumping – every trainer that has worked with her on him, is SO impressed by Turbo. He is extremely easy, smooth, kind, and SO tolerant. Turbo is great in the barn, stands tied like a gentleman, very easy to even a child to saddle and bridle and get on alone, easy to catch anywhere, very sweet and friendly, loves being in the barn but is also happy outside, he is a SUPER easy keeper, loves a bath, easy to clip, groom, quiet for the farrier and the vet, he hops right on the trailer, stands dead quiet to mount and dismount – impeccable ground manners. Before his movie horse career Turbo was used for some ranch work, and has even won some money team roping! Before that he did low level eventing and pony club, and as a young horse, he did combined driving to a high level. He is extremely versatile and has seen so many things in his life. He just takes anything that you throw at him, in stride. These horses all came off of a pretty popular producer’s set for an upcoming TV series, which is due to be released early 2024. We are NOT allowed to release or share images of these horses on this set, due to respect for the producer’s intellectual property/name/image/publishing rights, this set he was on, is a closed set, on an unreleased series. This producer has had absolutely huge success the past several years with his series, this upcoming series …and Turbo being shot in scenes for it, will make for some pretty cool bragging rights for his new owner! This series re-tells the story of a western icon. In the producer’s bold and popular style, the story will be re-told in an eye-opening, raw,… and much more historically accurate way. It will be pretty special to own and ride a horse that was used in the production of this series, and will make watching the series when it comes out an especially good time, as you hunt for your own horse in the scenes! Turbo was a “hero horse” (a main actor’s/character’s horse) and will be very prominently seen in the series. This is a very unique opportunity!!! These special horses aren’t available everyday, and they are very rarely advertised, marketed, and offered directly to the public. Turbo was used in several scenes where there were literal mock bombs going off…taking the whole “Bomb-proof” term, to a whole other level! Turbo was just shod, his teeth were done by our equine dentist, he was just checked over and adjusted by the chiropractor, and he was just power packed wormed.
