She is…

A Registered AMHA Morgan that is almost 100 percent foundation bloodlines she’s 99. 9 percent foundation she only has one outcross back in the 10th generation. She also has Flyhawk right on the papers and a few times farther back. Her registered name is Grace La Motte if you want to look her up.

Tested Homozygous for the Gaited gene which means she BOTH GAITS & TROTS. She can do all the gaits, flat walk, running walk, rack, Trot, Foxtrot, canter, everything! So if you want to just gait she will do it, but if you don’t like to gait and want to just trot she will do that too.

She RIDES & DRIVES.

This mare is extremely versatile depending on what you want to use her for. She would make an excellent addition to a breeding program as she will always throw that gait gene and she’s foundation breeding. She would make someone an excellent carriage horse. And she makes a great riding horse too. This mare checks all the boxes so don’t miss out on her.

First off if you want to have babies with her she has had foals and is a good mother has no issues foaling out. She’s still young enough she can produce some really nice babies. She looks like what an old foundation Morgan should look like so she has the correct confirmation. She has that gait gene she will throw every time and it’s so hard to find foundation Morgans let alone one that is gaited. If I could I would keep her just to get some babies out of her to preserve her lines. So if you are a breeder check her out.

Next we have her driving abilities you can drive her downtown amongst all the hustle and bustle and it won’t bother her a bit. She’s been a carriage horse for most of her life and has been through town countless times. She doesn’t mind the traffic one bit. She stands great for hitching, tacking, getting on and off the carriage, and at the hitching rail. She’s easy to control will go anywhere you ask and very easy on the lines.

For Riding she will do a slow little gait for you if you ask or if you would rather trot she will move out and trot as well. She picks up her canter right away and has a nice little canter. She goes right in the creeks and rivers doesn’t care a bit about water. Goes through the muck and over logs or bridges. I have used her to pony a 2 year old horse and she did great. She loads right in and backs right out of the trailer and hauls excellent.

She leaves home alone just fine and will separate on the trail. Gets along out in the pasture with both mares and geldings. Stands for tacking, mounting, and dismounting. Fine with wildlife in fact the last time we took her out we had a flock of birds fly up right next to her and she didn’t budge a muscle. As long as you know how to ride you should have no problem getting along with her. This mare is defiantly a been there and done that type of mare.

She has so many different options I would love to see her go to someone that might want to breed her and try to preserve her bloodlines. Or if you just want a nice mare to enjoy it would be nice to see her go to someone that can get a lot of enjoyment out of her whether that be riding or driving.
