He is what I would consider green broke, but has one of the best minds I have ever worked with. I got him riding last year, then he was turned out to pasture, and bred a few mares this spring. We just took the mares out of in with him a few days ago and yesterday I threw a saddle on him and he rode off like a champ. He will load in just about anything, stands well for the farrier, bathes, and handles well even when excited.
Brother has the mind and athletic ability to do just about anything you could want him to do, but I just simply don’t have the time to work with him to take him there, and he’s too nice to just sit.
Keep him as a stallion and have a nice riding stallion as well as getting some nicely bred, fancy foals, or geld him and have a phenomenal performance gelding.
I’m not in a hurry to sell him, and potential homes will be vetted. I will be picky on where he ends up. I will continue working with him until he’s sold and his price will go up with training.
