Rona has a very quiet and humble demeanor. She was trained to have manners on the ground as a weanling, and again as a yearling. During that time she had consistent exposure to dogs, kids, farm machinery, four wheelers, and dirt bikes, as well as being handled in the halter twice every day. Rona was trained under saddle last year, as a two year old. She was trained under saddle consistently in the round pin until she was confident enough to ride out. She rides quietly through open fields, and on the road. Her first ride out of the round pin, she encountered a school bus zooming right past her. As we moved off to the side of the road for it to pass, it’s hard to believe, but she stood perfectly still while it passed. She maintains muscle and definition without effort. Rona has heart, and she can move fast if that’s what you want to do. However, Rona is perfectly fine with slowing down and enjoying the trails with her rider. The brilliance in her color is perfect. Rona is sound in every way, physically and mentally. This girl would be perfect for the trail rider that likes to flex a horse with class and capability, yet remains humble and wise.

Rona has been trained diligently and slowly, she trusts her rider, and looks forward to coming to the halter. Rona recently returned from 60 days in cutting training.
