Denalia is a beautiful 5yr old Friesian cross mare that stands 16hh. She is solid black with a beautiful head, kind eye, and a demeanor to match. She is breeder owned, and has the best care and solid training foundation put on her. This mare has been in training with my good friends at R & R Regal Equine for just over a year. During that entire time she has been an absolute joy to work with even with a part time and inconsistent work schedule. She takes time off well and comes back to work fully retaining all she learned from before. She knows all the basics in her arena work, side pass, bend flex, is soft in the face, takes both leads, extends out or collects up, etc. She has also had a lot of time riding outside, through pastures, trails, creeks, along busy highways and in traffic. Denalia is also very well broke to drive, and is absolutely gorgeous in harness. She will drive through town and right along heavy traffic. This mare has a really big, lofty, natural extension to her gait that makes her stunning both in harness and under saddle. Although she is not what we would call a finished horse or bombproof for any rider, Denalia has proven to be reliably consistent, kind and very willing, and absolutely easy to work with. And has so much potential to continue with in many different directions. Denalia has wonderful ground manners. She stalls beautifully or gets along in a herd in pasture. She ties, cross ties, clips, bathes, is great for the vet and farrier, and has great manners around other horses. She requires no special cares of any kind, no maintenance needed. She is clean legged, has great feet, and is blemish free. Always been 100% sound and healthy in every way. UTD on dental, coggins and feet.
