Blue Jean is a 15.1hh, 10 yr old, True Blue Roan Quarter Horse gelding that has a nice long mane and tail. Blue Jean has been used around a small ranch in all aspects of ranching. He has also been started on roping, has had professional training, trailing the “smarty” and has had about 50 steers roped on him out of the box both head and heels. He has been used on the ranch where he has herded, pasture roped and doctored cattle. He has penned cattle at stockyards and loaded trucks. He has been hauled to team penning and ranch sorting events. He would be an excellent break away roping horse as well. In addition to ranch and roping he has been trail ridden by an older gentleman and camped with in several states. He has saw everything possible on the trails and nothing gets him shook up. He will cross creeks, ditchs, logs and navigate rough rocky areas. He is safe in traffic safe whether that be trucks or cars. He is safe for beginners and the whole family to ride. Blue Jeans is a well broke horse that can make any “city slicker” feel like a real cowboy or cowgirl and will help build your confidence! He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed. Blue Jean is not cinchy, cold backed, does not crib or weave and will not try to pull back when he is tied.
