Iris is a 7-year-old, 14.3 HH bay tobiano Tennessee walker mare! Iris is an all-around family horse with a phenomenal temperament and great ground manners. She has been camping and ridden all over the mountains and will cross water and go through any obstacle without a problem! She has been ridden in tons of parades and has been out alone on trails and in groups. Kids have taken her trail riding to the gas station at night, and nothing bothers her. She stands tied patiently, picks up all 4 feet, and is perfect for the farrier; she loads and unloads, and stands to be tacked, brushed, mounted, and bathed. She will walk over tarps, stacked pallets, and walk through pool noodles. She is up to date on everything and is shod in the front. Iris is healthy, has no recent health issues or vices, and is 100% sound. She has a smooth gait and is very comfortable to ride. She has been used for lessons and builds the confidence of beginner and kid riders. Iris passed her recent vet check and has an appointment to have her feet trimmed again.
