Lani AKA Lucky Trails Pele’s Aolani (registered name) is a 10 year old (Foaled: 5/3/2013) Grey Sabino with White mane and tail mare, standing at 33.5 inches. She is registered with the American Miniature Horse Registry with a permanent certificate. Lani is a gorgeous horse with perfect proportions and perfect face.

She is like a miniature Arabian Horse. Because of her pedigree and beauty she was used as a brood mare by a prestigious breeder who is actively producing champion halter/conformation and driving horses. We occasionally purchase quality horses from the breeder in order to give them a new career as we are a horse training facility. Lani would do best as a beautiful pet, companion, or lead line for a small kid. She is started on the cart as well as under saddle with a riding dummy. She does not kick or bite - ever. Being under saddle she never offered to buck at all at walk, trot or canter. She is also very brave on the trail and doesn’t seem to be afraid of anything there whether ground-driven or ridden. She would make a perfect companion horse as she gets along with all other horses - big and small, babies and old. She also gets along with dogs and other farm animals. Lani can also give a child rider pony rides while handled by a competent adult. Even though she was started on the cart it doesn’t seem like it’s her favorite gig. Lani loads great but needs to trailer and tie with other horses. If left tied alone she will paw and be vocal and needs more practice standing still when tied by herself. She is ok if other horses are there tied with her. She bathes well. She could also be a bit buddy sour when initially brought into the arena, but quickly focuses, settles and complies once a task is given to her. I strongly believe that this behavior will disappear once she has her own consistent person. When we first got her she was uncatchable even though she lived in a stall. Now she is turned out on our 2.5 acres back yard and will come to me when I get outside and even come to the house as she knows where we live:)

She had her feet trimmed in December and is UTD on shots.
