16.3 hands, 13 yr old gelding, Clyde Emerson for sale in North Carolina

Clyde Emerson, 16.3 hands, 13 year old warmblood gelding up for consideration due to no fault of his own. I've had a baby and decided it's too much to keep my current herd size so I'm looking to sell him as I downsize. I purchased him in fall of 2021 so I've had him about 3 years. I bought him to be a trail horse and to show in English. Previous owner said he has been through trails, creeks, and doesn't mind saddle bags. I haven't ridden him through water personally since buying him but he has been out on the trail. He was head shy when I purchased him but has since come a long way. He comes to the gate to be caught without any issue. Stands for the farrier and is kept up to date on shots & teeth. My husband has no horse experience but is able to hop on him and ride around without an issue with saddle or bareback. Would recommend to intermediate rider, not beginner due to his size combined with having some off time after I've had my baby. Located in Walkertown, NC we do have an outdoor arena if interested in coming to try him out (weather dependent). I've had a hard time accepting that I need to downsize my herd so I'm not in a rush to sell him, would like to see him go to the right fit for a new owner. Price negotiable to right owner.
