He has spent the last two years being used in 4-H ranch riding and halter classes and has also been enjoyed on the trails and camping. He is comfortable crossing creeks and navigating different environments, making him a dependable trail partner as well as a horse with the foundation to continue on in the arena. Has seen barrel pattern as well as poles.
Under saddle, he has a solid walk, trot, and canter, moves off pressure, side passes, and stops on a dime. He is more of a push-style horse and is VERY laid-back and willing. Been in the road. Good with dogs/small animals, tractors, atv.
He has also tracked and sorted cows, and this is where I really think his potential shines!! He was bred to work cattle, and he seems to genuinely want a job. He has been exposed to roping as well — you can throw a rope off of him, rope around him, and he doesn’t get bothered by it.
Good ground manners

Stands tied
Stands well for grooming and handling
Doesn’t mind being fly sprayed
Doesn’t mind the water hose

Easy Keeper
He has a great start and a fantastic, quiet temperament. One hand neck reins! With the right person, I think this horse could be developed into a really nice roping, ranch versatility, sorting, ranch riding, trail, or general all-around horse. He has the foundation — now he just needs someone to take him in the direction they want to go.
