YO Leather Frost is one of the prettiest buttermilk buckskins we have ever laid our eyes on and is correct and stunning in every way. Seasoned riders enjoy his training, athleticism, and responsiveness, yet a beginner can feel confident with his quiet demeanor. Talk about the total package!

He is definitely one of the barn favorites! He stands at 15 hands and just turned 12 years old. He is registered with the American Quarter Horse Association and has great bloodlines which include Sun Frost. He has gone through and completed a Ken McNabb Horsemanship training clinic where he excelled through every challenge that was presented to him with ease!

Level-headed, sane, kind and honest are a few good words to describe him. He has lots of experience on trails and is 100% dependable. Crossing creeks, logs, down slippery banks, through the mud, around traffic or other horses, He’s perfectly capable and does all with ease.

Calm attitude, and a complete sweetheart. Frost is a gorgeous mover, with a comfortable, walk, trot, and lope. He has a nice ground covering stride and will also collect nicely if you ask. He also has a nice responsive stop, and reverse. He moves well off leg pressure and is nice and soft on your hands. He does everything with a willing mind.

He’s seen lots of miles on the ranch, trails and in the arena. He’s been used at the stockyards penning cattle, checking fences, pushing and sorting cattle and pasture roping on the ranch. He is very willing to work around cattle, strong on a rope and has started steer wrestling. He‘s even done a little barrel pattern work with our family barrel racer and given some arena lessons to a beginner. This gelding has been there done that! Dogs barking, kids playing, 4-wheelers, heavy equipment, hustle and bustle he all takes in stride! He is traffic safe, quiet, and uncomplicated on the trails as well. He truly is as versatile as he is handsome! Be sure to watch his video! He is very gentle and calm. Great stall and pasture manners. He’s great to shoe, load, haul, bathe and be around.
