Trixie is an 11-year-old roan mare that is broke to ride with a kind, easygoing disposition. She has been trail ridden extensively through all types of terrain, taken on overnight camping trips, and used for light ranch work, including moving cattle. Trixie confidently crosses water, deadfall, and any obstacle you point her toward. She is accustomed to tarps, dogs, traffic, and the everyday activity of a working ranch.
Trixie saddles up the same every day and is consistent and dependable each time she is saddled. She is good to bathe, easy to handle for the farrier, and stands well for tacking up. She loads and unloads with ease and has excellent ground manners, making her simple and enjoyable to work around.
In the arena, Trixie lopes collected circles both directions, has a nice one-hand neck rein, and rides off your seat and leg cues. She stays broke with time off and can even be ridden bridleless.
