"Treasure " Dun Gelding Paso Fino
Meet Treasure, a 7 yr old Bay Dun grade Paso Fino gelding!
Treasure needs a VERY light hand, is great around crowds of horses, loads and unloads in the trailer great, responds to extremely light quiet cues (no spurs required) is always ready to go and will hold a rack until you tell him to stop. He has never been stumbly or foot sore. Nothing spooks him, he’s now dog, traffic and lawnmower broke; he’s super willing and pleasant.
Quirks: still working on standing still under saddle, hates overhead fly spray and direct hose water to the face (but you can touch/scratch/bridle him no problem.
Treasure has a nice smooth gait but we think he’s got some other gaited breed in his bloodlines because sometimes his gait is 4 beat which you can hear in his video!
Owner has only had him 2 1/2 mths and purchased him from her neighbor who’s an older gentleman that purchased Treasure but he was not a good fit for him.
His present owner doesn’t need another horse to ride and wanted to put some good training on some areas he needed before she sold him.
He probably needs an Intermediate or confident Intermediate Beginner but for sure no heavy hands needed.
She’s only asking $3500 for him and wants him to go to the right person that can appreciate a smooth willing trail partner!
Treasure is up to date on his vaccines, teeth just floated, wormed, shod and he has a new coggins and health certificate!
