He stands out everywhere he goes with his long flaxen mane and tail, kind eye, and respectful demeanor, always getting compliments from people.
Tonka is the type of pony the whole family can enjoy. He will be glad to back in the box and heel steers, and then let the kids hot rod around the barrels and poles on him. He is efficient inside the arena with a great handle, and is simple to ride. He collects and breaks at the poll, moves off leg pressure, has a nice stop and turn around, and neck reins like one should. Tonka has real working experience when it comes to ranch work. We have used him for nearly every aspect of cattle work. Heβs handy broke which makes him an easy choice when it comes to getting a task done.
Traveling for Tonka is no issue; He has been hauled to the Black Hills of South Dakota and trail ridden countless beautiful miles to view Mount Rushmore, plus many over night camping trips, and been around the commotion of chuckwagon races and other rodeo events. He is sure footed and confident when it comes to trails and obstacles along the way.
Not only does this guy offer a ton of fun already, he also looks and rides amazing under English tack as well and has been started over small jumps. There is not much Tonka wouldnβt do, and he is ready to be an enjoyable addition to your family!
