I've owned Theo since he was a yearling and he's been my primary riding horse for years. Unfortunately, between work, family, and life, he spends far more time standing in the pasture than being enjoyed, and he deserves a home where he'll get the interaction he loves.
Theo is a big, beautiful, loud-colored Appaloosa gelding (approximately 25% draft bred) with a great mind and a solid foundation. He rides and drives and is road safe under both saddle and harness, making him a versatile partner whether you're hitting the trails, riding country roads, or heading out with the carriage.
He is a forward-moving horse (more go than whoa) and is best suited for a confident intermediate rider or driver who enjoys a horse that willingly moves out.

Theo is easy to catch, enjoys attention, and is a pleasure to have around. His only real quirk is fly spray—he doesn't like being sprayed directly, but he's perfectly happy to be wiped down with it instead.
He has an old soft bump on his right front knee that has been present since he was a yearling and has never affected his soundness or willingness to work.
This isn't a sale I have to make, so finding the right home is my priority. I'd love to see him with someone who will appreciate him as much as I have.
