This handsome guy is looking for his next home! The Iceman Commeth is a 7 y/o OTTB gelding out of Keen Ice standing around 16.1 hands. He’s a special guy that everyone falls in love with - puppy-dog personality, loves attention, and is always happy to see his people. More whoa than go. Great on trails.
He’s been ridden in clinics with Jerry Schurink and Janice Holmes and has gone to an off-property schooling show, where he competed in USEA Starter test and low-level jumping and was unfazed by the surroundings. He’s a fancy mover who loves to hop over a jump and will be even flashier as he continues to train up.
He does best with regular work and is looking for a confident, calm rider who can continue his training. Ideally, his next person will have successful experience with OTTBs or be working closely with a knowledgeable trainer. He gets daily turnout and currently needs two front shoes. Like any young OTTB, he has his quirks, and I’m happy to discuss those privately with serious/interested buyers.
He is available because one co-owner is moving away, while the other is looking for her next heart horse. We want to find him a knowledgeable, committed home where he can continue to develop and be someone's special partner.
