I'm currently seeking a loving new home for my Dark brown horse, Teddy.
Due to some personal issues i decided to move and unfortunately I can’t move with Teddy. It’s sad to part with my best friend but I want to do this to give him a better family and a comfortable life.
Ted has a solid foundation and a kind, intelligent temperament. He has received consistent handling and training and does best with a calm, confident rider. Other details below:
Training & Experience:
• Halter trained; leads, ties, loads, bathes
• Lunges at walk and trot
• Walk/trot under saddle; canter introduced
• Soft mouth, ridden in a snaffle
• Arena riding; limited trail exposure
Temperament: Sensitive, observant, and people-oriented. Not reactive or aggressive. Requires a rider who understands thoughtful horses and values patience.
Rider Suitability:
Confident intermediate to experienced rider
Suitable for beginners, children, or lesson programs
Health & Soundness:
• Sound for light to moderate riding
• UTD on vaccinations, dental, and deworming
• Barefoot with strong hooves
• No injury history
• Mild stiffness after time off; resolves with regular work
What I’m Looking For
I’m looking for a responsible, caring home where Teddy can receive the love and attention they deserve. Ideally, the new owner should have experience with horses and the facilities to provide adequate care in a safe environment.
If you think you could provide a wonderful home for Teddy please reach out to me via email. I'm willing to answer any questions.
The right home is essential. Trial period and references welcomed.
