8 year old Buckskin Tobiano gelding standing 15 hands with tons of structure and bone. This is a very gentle, safe and easy gelding that would make an awesome family horse. He’s versatile, well rounded and has been exposed to a little bit of everything.
He has been ridden extensively on trails, exposed to lots of traffic and parade type environments, been through obstacle courses and carries a flag. He is rope broke, has gathered cattle and has been around cattle plenty.
He is not buddy sour or barn sour and is good to ride out alone or with a group.
Super quiet minded and would be an awesome trail course horse or flag horse.
In the arena, he is broke in the face with a nice walk, trot and lope both directions. He picks up both leads, has classy movement, spins both ways, neck reins great, stops well, and has lateral movement. He’s uncomplicated, responsive and enjoyable to ride.
He stands to be mounted from a mounting block, stands tied, bathes, clips and is good to shoe. Just an easy horse to have around in general.
Sound with clean legs and good feet. Recently had his teeth floated and is freshly shod.
This is a really versatile gelding that can go in several different directions. Whether you want to trail ride, do trail courses, flag horse, gather cattle or just have a safe and dependable family horse, he’s the kind that’s easy to enjoy. He’s at a prime age and will last a while. No habits like cribbing, weaving, pawing, etc. He’s been used and is dependable. Hauls great alone, loads and backs out.
We have ridden him bareback and bridle-less, we have truly enjoyed him and his personality. He’s very much in your pocket and will do anything for a snack!
