Sunshine! His name sums him up perfectly! A gorgeous 15.1hh palomino gelding with enough chrome to be noticed in any crowd, stand out to any judge, and a kind demeanor that lights you up e dry time you ride or think about him. With his outstanding looks, pedigree, athleticism, and demeanor He truly is once in a lifetime partner.

Sunshine is the ultimate prospect! Looks & pedigree aside, he’s been started slow and correct. He has the quiet disposition and skill set to excel in all the ranch horse classes as well as the size, athleticism and softness to be your next team roping, ranch rodeo, or cow horse prospect. He’s not one dimensional, and that’s what we love about him. He rides just as nice in the arena, as he does outside ridden by riders ages 9-69. Sunny is broke enough to be enjoyable, but simple enough that you don’t have to overthink riding him. Sunny is a very pretty mover! He’s has a slow smooth jog that extends into a trot, but slows back down when asked. His lope is slow and steady with an even cadence making him smooth and easy to ride. He’s picks up his leads with ease, rides on a loose rein, and is really starting to stop and spin.

On the ground he’s kind and patient putting your mind at ease with little kids around. Sunny has also been desensitized to whips, bags, flags, balls, tarps, ropes, noodles, etc… Outside of the arena, he shows that same easy going personality and calmness to put your worries at ease. He’s crossed bridges, bogs, water, culverts, ditches, traffic, dogs, new scenery etc… and takes it all in stride.

Sunshine is no stranger when it comes to ranch work. We used him at a couple of brandings this spring, as well as checking and doctoring pairs, opening and shutting gates, gathering and sorting pairs, etc… he’s responsive, knows how to track and rate, is strong from the horn, and overall easy to work with to get a job done.
