"Stetson" Chocolate Gelding Kentucky Mountain

Stetson is a 12-year-old chocolate gelding. He stands 15.1 and is heavy-bodied with a great build. He is a Kentucky Mountain horse and has an all-natural, smooth, 4-beat gait. He has spent the last 9 years at one home, where he was ridden by a lady who has camped with him, trail ridden with him, and even shown him. He’s been tied out on the picket line while camping and does well adapting to new challenges. We’ve taken Stetson on numerous trail rides, and he is safe all the way around. He does excellently even on rough, challenging trails and is quiet and gentle to ride. He is confident enough to ride in the front or alone, but also laid-back enough to follow along with a crowd. We’ve even ridden him in town, and he is safe in traffic. His personality and demeanor are amazing, too; he is friendly and charming to be around. We even trust him to tote our little girl around from time to time, as you can see in the videos. He is the kind that everyone looks for- safe, smooth, friendly, pretty, and has a great mind! He has good feet and is currently shod, but he can go barefoot as well.
