Meet Spade, a stunning 6-year-old, 16.2hh jet-black, stocky-built gelding with a Percheron, Quarter Horse, and Morgan cross. Complete with a long, wavy mane and tail, he’s as handsome as they come!
Spade is well-broke to ride English or Western, with a smooth, elegant trot and a canter like sitting on a cloud. He’s soft in the mouth, has excellent brakes, and is beautifully responsive to his rider. He’s also well-trained to drive.
With years of natural horsemanship training, Spade confidently tackles trails, deep water, steep terrain, traffic, bikes, and even kayaks. He’s completed our desensitizing program with flying colors and has enjoyed attending hunter paces.
Beyond his talent, Spade has the sweetest personality. He’s easygoing, gets along with everyone, loves people, and happily fits into anything from a backyard setting to a busy boarding barn.
