What are your goals?

✅ Arena & Trail Ready – Rides out alone or in company, confidently tackles mountain terrain, creeks, bridges, and opens gates. Taken to a couple schooling shows. Smooth in the arena with a solid foundation in Western Pleasure and Trail. He leg yields, side passes, has completed all Western Rider levels 1 to 4; now schooling flying lead changes.

✅ Obstacle-Smart & Brave – Send him ahead over obstacles in-hand or riding, through tight and open spaces—Rocky leads well in hand, handles trail challenges, and moves off pressure with balance and lightness in a loose ring snaffle.

✅ Cattle & Dog Savvy – Rocky has started being around cattle and dogs, both in and out of the arena. He has been roped off, but not on live cattle yet. He stays fairly calm, thinks through situations but needs a confident rider for guidance. He needs more work and exposure if you want to take him in that direction—making him a possibility for ranch work or just trail time.

✅ Well-Mannered on the Ground – Stands to mount, backs, turns on the forehand/haunches, bathes, trailers, lunges (free or on line), works on long lines, and hand drives. Great for the farrier, 100% sound and has always been barefoot. Cavello boots used on rough mountain trails.

✅ (Experienced) Youth & Adult Friendly – Needs a soft-handed leader as he can be observant and sometimes distracted by surroundings. Regular riding keeps him focused. He moves by balance and intention. Kids have ridden him, but under supervision in an arena, as they were inexperienced.
