Meet Pippin, he’s a well gaited 14.2 hand chocolate gelding that’s the perfect age of 8 yrs old!

Pippin’s owner bought him when he was 3 and has been riding him for 5 years!

She’s in her 70’s and has had rotator cuff surgery and has decided to retire from riding so we are helping her find him the perfect home where he’ll be well cared for and be able to trail ride and camp which he loves!

Most of the riding Pippin has done has been with his owner out alone so he has lots of experience with that but also fine in a group!

Pippin has been to New River trail, CC camp, Hussy mountain , Saddle creek, Bridle creek and Briar patch mountain!

This horse stands completely still for people to get on, and you can mount him from about anything you can find and he won’t move!

Pippin is use to traffic, dogs, farm shipment, animals you run into on the trails, and just a nice solid trail mount that knows his job and enjoys it!

He does neck rein, moves off your legs, canters and so supple you can ride him in a D Ring Snapple bit!

Owner has him with a friend while she’s on the mend plus this is very hard for her to do so her friend will handle his sell.

In the video you’ll see him ponying another horse down the road while he’s being rode bareback with just a halter!

Pippin stands great for the Farrier, mounting, cross ties, bathing, great ground manners and trailers great!
