Sarge is a 4yr old blue roan, draft cross, gelding standing the perfect height of 16 hands. We have owned this big, gorgeous gelding for the last nine months and enjoyed every bit of it. Sarge is well trained in and outside of the arena. Sarge neckreins, sidepasses and has an easy walk, slow trot and probably the smoothest canter you will find! Sarge rides English or Western and is a great trail horse. He will go through water, over logs and we have even ridden him right down the busy main highway. Sarge rides bridleless and lopes right out of his tracks and has an easy way of moving. Sarge is more whoa than go, making him the perfect fit for most level riders. You never have to ask Sarge to do something twice he is a very point and go type of ride.

Sarge is gentle and easy to get along with. He will collect up and move off of leg pressure or you can throw the reins away and leisurely walk around all day, Sarge doesn’t mind at all. We have used him to push cattle, check fences and run errands into town. Sarge is the same dependable ride whether he is ridden every day or once a month. Sarge has no buck, rear or bite. Sarge does well inside or turned out in a mixed herd.

Sarge still has his winter coat but he will turn sky blue in the summer. We have exposed him to bouncy balls, flapping tarps and all kinds of obstacles and he doesn’t mind any of them. If this is the horse you are looking for feel free to give me a call or to setup up a time to test ride him.
