She is full of personality and loves attention. In the pasture, she will find me and lay her chin on my shoulder for scratches. She loves being with people and right in the middle of the action. She truly seems to enjoy having a job.
On the ground, Ember is respectful and quiet. She knows her groundwork, ties, bathes, stands for the farrier, and loads right up in the trailer. She is pleasant to be around and easy to handle.
This mare was “born broke,” very easy to start under saddle and always wants to please. She is athletic and willing to move out without getting hot. In the arena, she is started on all the maneuvers. She will walk, trot, and lope on a loose rein or collected. She stops, backs, sidepasses, has good shoulder and hip control, and is soft and supple. She has had light exposure to cows and picked it up quickly. She is naturally cowy and shows a lot of promise there. Outside, she will trail ride alone or in a group, whether at the front, middle, or back. Ember handles different terrain without any fuss and is truly a joy to ride.
Ember is a young horse with a mature mind. She could go any direction you choose. She has the talent to perform, the disposition to be a family horse, and the nature to be someone’s lifetime partner. I will genuinely miss this horse.
She is current on her shots, deworming, and coggins.
