When we got him, he was very underweight and has come a long way. He is still a little green and needs continued miles, so he is not a beginner horse. I have ridden him quite a bit and he is more go than whoa. His biggest issue right now is that he can be very buddy sour and gets impatient when his friends aren't close by. This is something that needs consistent work, but I think he has a lot to offer the right person.
• Loads well
• Takes a bit
• Stands to be saddled
• Picks up his feet easily
• Stands well for the farrier
• Very sweet
• Doesn't have any problems with baths
• Loves nose kisses and treats
• Has been around dogs, goats, pigs, and chickens
He would do best with an experienced rider who is confident and willing to put some consistent work into him. He isn't a finished, push-button horse, but he's a good-minded horse with plenty of room to grow. With an infant and toddler, I just don’t have the time and flexibility to be super consistent with him like he deserves. 🤎
