"Rocky" Palomino Gelding Kentucky Mountain

Rocky is so much fun to ride. He is the first one to greet you at the gate and has an in your pocket personality. We've owned him 3 years but he's not getting ridden enough to justify keeping him. He's great about grooming, saddling & bridling. He's got a very smooth gait, neck reins and is easy to handle, however he has more Go than whoa with a very fast pace. Ricky loves his baths, is good for the farrier and vet and jumps right in the trailer. He is my 80 year old husband's horse but he prefers a slower, more relaxed horse. My husband has bad knees so needs to mount him from a picnic table, but Rocky doesn't like standing there for mounting.
