LOCATION: Crab Orchard, KY

“Tor The Solid Rock” is a beautiful, registered AQHA grullo gelding. “Rock” as we call him, was born July 15, 2019, and stands 14.3 hands tall. Rock has the best nature and disposition. He is gentle, quiet, easy to get along with and friendly. Rock has a sound mind and a willing to please attitude. He has excellent conformation and build. Rock is an excellent all-around riding horse. He will ride around in the arena; he is a great trail horse and he has also been used on a small cow/calf operation. In the arena or the pasture, Rock will lope circles, taking the correct lead both ways. He one-hand neck reins, backs up and he has a big stop! He rides low headed, he is soft in the face, and collected in the bridle very nice. Rock is also a great trail mount. He will ride up and down steep hills with ease, cross logs, ditches, and mud when he is asked and will also ride through creeks and deep water. Rock has also been used to help move, catch, and check our cattle, fences and pasture. He is great out riding alone or with a group. He has even been taken to local fun shows and been shown by our son where he done great and paid no mind to the noise and commotion. He is also used to other sorts of livestock such as sheep, goats and is also familiar with the dogs and cats that run around the barn. Rock has been exposed to wildlife such as deer, turkey, and squirrel as well. Rock is easy to catch, and he gets along well with other horses. He stands tied patiently in the cross ties, stands for the farrier, loads and hauls great and loves a bath. Rock is also good with guns, whips and tarps and he is also completely traffic safe.
