"River" Mare Draft

River is a 3yr 16h growing draft x mare that is just absolutely lovely in all the ways! She has an absolutely wonderful start with tons and tons of trail miles and spent a few months here recently getting more polished in under western tack. She just has such a nice soft way of going. Obviously we are changing what she is used to asking her to move more forward and stretch down but boy is she figuring it out so darn fast. You simply cannot beat a good mare! I think she is the type that really will fit those who maybe want something that is athletic and fancy but still doesn't feel like a lot of horse. She has that super soft quiet canter that really collects up nice.

She has just been super perfect with every single thing since arriving. Clipping, baths, grooming, tacking, mounting, lunging, etc. Great in turnout, stall, etc. No vices. Sound. No injuries. Just solid! I would have expected her to stay and grow a bit more and really is going to be just such an all around safe fun horse to develop.
