River is a registered American Quarter Horse, buckskin gelding. He was foaled in 2010 making him 13 years old. He has his whole life ahead of him but is also very seasoned and been there done that type of horse, making him super safe and super good broke to ride. River has been used for all aspects of ranch work and is very good when it comes to working with cattle. He has seen it all and nothing fazes him. The last few years he has been used primarily as a family trail horse. He is very good on the trails and goes wherever you point him and is sure footed in the rough terrain. You can ride him in the front or back or alone by himself. Let him sit for long periods of time without being ridden and he will stay quiet and gentle. Just saddle him up and go enjoy a nice relaxing ride. You will love his one hand neck rein, his good stop and back up. He has been roped off some and is very good at that also. River is truly an all-around good broke gelding that can do any job and can be ridden by any type of rider because he is so quiet, gentle, and safe.
