"Rio" Bay Gelding Thoroughbred

Rio is a 16 yr old ottb he is a big boy with a great personality. He was used as my friends trail horse the last 6 years and I have been tuning him up in my lesson program for teens on barrels. We’ve hauled him to new arenas, and trail rides . Rio is a super fun ride, sensitive to leg and forward moving . He knows the barrel pattern, and he’s been over small jumps . He would be best suited for an intermediate rider, and would be a great horse for a teen looking for an all around big gelding . He is super sweet not a mean bone in his body, wants to please and could do just about anything. He moves off leg, had a slow little jog or extended trot, and uphill fun smooth canter . Unfortunately I do not have enough committed students in my program to keep him at this time and would like to find him the absolute perfect home he deserves .
