Ringo is an astonishing, seven-year-old gelding with a raven black coat. He is absolutely the perfect family and trail mount. Ringo was born and raised in North Carolina and has had one owner since he was 18 months old. He's been trail ridden extensively all over North Carolina and Kentucky. Ringo will carry you over or through any obstacle on the trail. He crosses deep water, steep creek banks, large logs, and bridges. He can even maneuver through thick brush that would challenge Tarzan. Ringo will carry saddle bags and stand on the picket-line all day and night with no hassle. Trail riding isn't all this gelding can do! Ringo is a true all-around mount and he rides well in the arena too! He has smooth gaits, gets his leads with ease, a one hand neck reins, pivots on his hindquarters and forehand. He will side pass to a mounting block, truck bed, picnic table, or log for mounting/dismounting. He can also open and close gates. This gelding has been through our desensitizing program and handles tarps, bull whips, umbrellas, goes over bridges, and tractor tires. Ringo would make a steady 4H mount or would do very well in English. He will ride in a shank bit, snaffle bit or halter. Ringo stands excellent for the farrier, loads on any kind of trailer, and bathes with no issues. Ringo can sit in a stall for three weeks and ride like he never missed a day and is always the first at the gate in the field. Ringo sells 100% sound in every way. Absolutely no bad habits or vices.
